ATM Business is picking up

Our ATM business normally makes me happy. But within the past 2 weeks our ATM business has really been making me more happy. Why?

When you have an ATM business you place your ATM machines in locations that you feel will be profitable.

I mean you really wouldn’t run an ATM business by placing ATMs in locations that you think would suck, right?

We have had 2 of our ATMs in 2 locations & they were by far our WORST performing ATMs in our entire ATM business. We wanted to find locations for these 2 ATM machines sooner, but well we got busy (and truthfully a lil lazy too 😉

Within the last 2 weeks or so we finally moved those 2 under-performing ATMs into new locations. So far we are VERY happy with these new locations for our ATM business.

Where we moved these machines to make our ATM Business more profitable?

The first ATM we originally had in a gas station. Normally gas stations & convenience type stores will be awesome for your ATM business, but this location just didn’t get the traffic.

We moved this ATM machine to a restaurant/liquor store. They do take credit cards but they do not allow customers to use their debit cards. Apparently there is a big hispanic client base that goes to this store that likes to use their debit cards.

Your ATM business will skyrocket when you learn to talk to business owners & learn more about their business & customers.

The second ATM machine we had in a 24 hour diner. You would think a location that’s open 24 hours would be profitable for your ATM business because it never closes, right? Not always.

We moved this ATM machine to a college student dorm. This dorm feeds 5 different colleges. We are expecting a very big money maker for our ATM business with this ATM machine.
