Can you really get a new location to place your ATM because of a rose bush? Hmmmmm…..I think it’s possible.
Ok so this past Sunday, Kathy, her older sister and myself were doing gardening work at our house. I was instructed to remove a rosebush out front so we could put it out back.
No problemo, right? Wrong! I start to dig and next thing you know I hear CRASH! SPLAT!
Umm apparently a robin had made a nest in the rosebush and my digging it up made 3 robin eggs crash and splat to their demise. I was so upset (I’m a huge animal lover.)
Anyway, Kathy and her sister told me to “step away from the rosebush” and to go get us lunch.
I went to a local place that sells cheese steaks. They have a $10 credit card minimum. After I paid I asked the following key question: “Have you ever thought about having an ATM in here?”
She proceeded to tell me that they use to but that they had problems with the ATM owner not servicing the machine when it was down and not loading it with cash. She said it was like pulling teeth to get them to come out there. (Can you sense potential opportunity?)
I said, “well I own a small, local ATM business. I only live 5 minutes down the road and if you guys wanted to reconsider an ATM I’d love to help you out.” (I’m paraphrasing here because I don’t remember exactly, but that is the gist.)
She gave me the owners name and number and told me to call him. I actually left him a voicemail. Hoping he calls back, if not I’ll follow up with him a few times.
Will I get this location for my ATM? Maybe? Maybe not? But that’s not the point….the point is that you need to learn this phrase: “Have you ever thought about putting an ATM in here?” and say it to as many business owners as you can.
This is the exact phrase that I teach in my ATM Business Blueprint course. If you’re interested in learning about the ATM business and how you can deposit passive income into your bank account month after month without the hassles of tenants and toilets then check out my free ATM Video Trainings here.
